This website PrivateSecurityRegulation.net is devoted to regulations governing Private Military and Security Companies (PMSCs) and their activities. It seeks to create a focal point and where interested persons can gain a better understanding of the issues and challenges surrounding PMSCs.
Regulation Database
We invite you to browse our Regulation Database, which contains international and domestic PMSC laws and regulations from over 50 countries.
Toolkits
Future plans include the launching of Toolkits which are practical guides that seek to identify key issues and challenges posed by PMSCs, as well as practical and concrete responses to those challenges.
Legal Commentaries
Future plans also include legal commentaries written by local lawyers and legal scholars on specific domestic PMSC laws, with a view to offering first-hand points-of-view on how the regulations are being applied 'on the ground'.
All of these are currently under development and will be released later in 2008.
